Have you ever been hungry? Do you know the joy that comes through sharing your faith along with a warm meal to a complete stranger? For the past several months, we have been providing meals and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to many who have need.

“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” – James 2: 14-17

Come with us and share your talents. You may be stretched out of your comfort zone by the Holy Spirit, but I assure you… if you participate, you will be changed. You may end up sharing more than just a warm meal… God may be calling you to give someone the Bread of Life!

What began as a small group Bible study has evolved into a full-time ministry of serving. On the last Saturday of every month, a hot meal is prepared and delivered to several shut-ins and households in need in our community. This service not only provides an opportunity to feed someone physically, but also spiritually.

There are several ways to get involved in this ministry: calling those we serve, preparing meals, dishing out meals to facilitate delivery and actually delivering the meals (to be honest with you this is the best part of this ministry).
